We were passing through your lovely village and stumbled across cafe clare. What an experience; the service, the fantastic food, and the lovely secret garden. We shall be back!!

AMAZING TEAS!

 Nice to finally find some where that appreciates and serves quality loose leaf teas the traditional way  (and not in a bag). Superb flavour and excellent service. A++++++

 We found Clare cafe last year 2009 and were made very welcome even though we had our greyhound dog with us. They are dog friendly. Although  we sat in the lovely garden we were told we could also sit inside with the dog if nobody objected. We ended up visiting the cafe 4 times last year on our way to and from Suffolk and Norfolk. Each time we found the food splendid. We are visiting Suffolk again this year and will certainly be stopping at the cafe on the way up and on the way back.   Well done all

We stumbled across the Cafe when travelling back to London depressed after a long weekend away.

There were 1 foot floods in the area.

But a warm cheese, superb ham slightly toasted sandwich, excellent strong trotting tea made everything all right.

The Victoria Sandwich cake should be by royal warrant. I just wished I had more of every cake.

There was a power cut while we were there, but we had everything on our table!!.

Excellent cook who completely understands food, comfort and joy.

hi there,i think the cafe clare has most superb finest homemade food which is cooked my wonderful cook,wonderful staff with a great service,always greeted by superb manner.i would recommend it to everyone and anyone.go and enjoy a most lovely experience with the staff at cafe clare.

I often pop into Cafe Clare for a cup of tea and cake once I have shopped in the town and each time is a good experience and all the staff make you feel so welcome.  I have also sampled some delicious home cooked food and have to say that each time has been exceptional.  Thank you Celia for providing such a warm and welcoming restaurant.
