Superb Cheese n Ham Sandwich
Submitted by Anonymous on Thu, 03/04/2010 - 20:08.We stumbled across the Cafe when travelling back to London depressed after a long weekend away.
There were 1 foot floods in the area.
But a warm cheese, superb ham slightly toasted sandwich, excellent strong trotting tea made everything all right.
The Victoria Sandwich cake should be by royal warrant. I just wished I had more of every cake.
There was a power cut while we were there, but we had everything on our table!!.
Excellent cook who completely understands food, comfort and joy.

I have also sampled some delicious home cooked food and have to say that each time has been exceptional. Thank you Celia for providing such a warm and welcoming restaurant.

We are talking fantastic food, amazing atmosphere and ambiance. Something for everyone. Real home cooked local produce delivered with love and passion in an authentic village old fashioned cafe. As cold as it is, we have valentines day this sunday, of which we shall be busy making cakes to eat, also take away, for your loved ones.The Cafe shall be open, from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m. as it always is on Sunday, we shall be here to serve you. Possible we shall be busy, so please let us know iff you would like a table for a special time. closed tomorrow. valentine weekend

We now are looking towards the next. Mothers day. We talk our plan, for all special dates, so we can share what we shall be doing with you all. I shall be making individual cup cakes for gifts, also slightly larger to purchase, any requests, please let us know. lighter nights, brighter mornings, shall not be long, thats time that I shall work towards, my spring menu. I do still keep homemade warming soups on my menu, as the chill facter is still with us. keep warm! regards Celia.
